BACKGROUND
This design build project consists of the design and construction of the design and construction of 7.8 miles of improvements along I-2 from just west of 2nd Street to just east of FM 2557 and I-69C from Nolana Loop to I-2 in cities of McAllen, Pharr and San Juan, in Hidalgo County, Texas.
PROJECT FEATURE
The project featured critical infrastructure improvements of 7.8 miles along I-2 and I-69C, enhancing connectivity and traffic flow in the cities of McAllen, Pharr, and San Juan in Hidalgo County, Texas.
RELEVANT SERVICES
infraTECH as a part of the GEC team provides oversight and plan review support for the DB Contractor’s design phase services which includes but not limited to Roadway, Structure, Signalization and Illumination, Traffic Management, and Construction sequencing. As a part of the construction management oversight team, infraTECH reviews traffic control information and plans for the project and provide State with comments and recommended improvements in traffic control plans, lane closures, construction phasing, construction sequencing, and tracking of lane rental fees. Providing project and maintenance oversight through weekly project status such as LCR meeting and monthly such as Monthly Maintenance Review meetings.
